Cockpit House is lovely and homely, clean and pretty with gorgeous views and a fabulous breakfast. Runswick is so picturesque and this smashing guest house overlooks the bay. The lack of ensuite facilities really isn't an issue, and the proprietress makes you feel very welcome. It is literally yards away from a good pub that serves nice food.
